Arike Ogunbowale
Arike Ogunbowale is the American basketball professional for the Dallas Wings in the Women's National Basketball Association. She played in the NCAA basketball tournament for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, after which she was drafted by the Wings as the 5th overall selection in the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale, born in Milwaukee Wisconsin on March 2, 1997 to Yolanda Ogunbowale and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years old) and Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her two older brothers. The high school season she played in included 73 games with 1,477 career points and 739 career rebounds. Ogunbowale participated at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship and was awarded Gold medals at both. The 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team was announced on the 7th July 2014. Ogunbowale also has been named to the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first season as a collegiate player.
