Katherine Heigl has opened her mind about being born into a "white bubble" and how the realization has affected how she parents her adopted multiracial children. The actress "Firefly Lane" spoke to an interviewer that it was not important the color of her skin to her. But after having a conversation with her Korean-American adopted sister, she noticed the differences between how others were treated by her. "I inquired of Meg whether she felt treated differently when she went out with our parents and the times she was out by herself. Meg replied: "Oh, sure, I've seen everything I've seen it all! Heigl addressed Parents about when she realized the naivety of her actions. She admitted to becoming frustrated, but decided to channel her anger in order to assist adopt her daughters. Heigl has a four-year old son with her 13-year spouse, Josh Kelley. Their child Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009. Adalaide is an Black 8-year old girl that was adopted by the couple in 2012.
