Markie Post is a noted American actress who is known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABCs drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. Markie Post was an actress on numerous game shows. She was raised with siblings and brothers within Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard F. Post's wife, poetess Marylee Post. She studied at Las Lomas High School where she played cheerleading. She briefly attended Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Personally, Post was previously married with Stephen Knox. The couple has been together from 1982 on to Michael A. Ross, who is a writer and actor with whom she shares two daughters. Post has inspired numerous Hollywood actors by being a wonderful actress, mother and wife. Early credits for Post's acting include a 1979 appearance on Barnaby Jones, the premiere episode of Simon & Simon Details at Elevenin 1981, episode one from Season 2 of The Greatest American Hero two episodes of The A-Team as two different characters in The Only Church in Townin 1983, Hot Stylesin 1984 and The Love Boat. She also appeared in the ABC action drama The Fall Guy after appearing in the science fiction show Buck Rogers in the Twenty-First Century and as Diane Chambers the best friend of Diane Chambers in the sitcom Cheers.
